Do you love theatre? Do you want to share your passion with others? Do you imagine a career in arts education? TheatreWorks’ Teen Teaching Artist in Training program (TTT) is a great way to discover the joy of teaching. TTT takes place during our PlayMakers Summer Camp where experienced Teaching Artists and Counselors guide campers grades K-6 in creating their own short play—from playwriting to music to acting—while having fun and making friends along the way. • Observe and assist experienced Teaching Artists
  • Lead games and exercises under the guidance of experienced arts educators
  • Learn theatre lesson planning skills
  • Learn class management skills
  • Design and create a special project to present to the campers of their session
  • Receive a valuable internship experience for college and employment applications
