Set to take off on May 13, 2023 from the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, this event celebrates the experiences we’ve had together and the journeys we’re set to embark on.

 

At this year’s ball, we are honoring our MUSE, Greta Oglesby! You may know Greta as the star of TheatreWorks FANNIE: The Life and Music of Fannie Lou Hamer, but she is also an esteemed veteran of the American theatre. Honors include the 2009 Ivey Award for her role as Caroline in Caroline, or Change, the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress in a Play, and the Black Theatre Alliance Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Greta has outdone herself with nationally recognized performances in theaters across the U.S. including the Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf, Oregon Shakes, Guthrie Theatre. We here at TheatreWorks are honored to be able to celebrate Greta Oglesby contributions to the American theatre at A Muse Ball this year.
