Everything's Ducky

In 2000, TheatreWorks' world premiere of Everything's Ducky won the prestigious WILL GLICKMAN PLAYWRIGHTING AWARD as the best new play of the year. It has since been produced throughout the country to rave reviews, and was awarded three distinguished GARLAND AWARDS for excellence from Los Angeles-based Back Stage West. TheatreWorks' production of The Syringa Tree played around the country. TheatreWorks has been honored as "The Best Repertory Theatre in the Bay Area!" by San Francisco magazine and "Best Local Theatre" by Out Now and was named Best Performing Arts Group by Citisearch in the "Best of Citysearch" 2001 guide. We are very proud to be able to share these successes, both on our stage and through our outreach programs, with you.

"TheatreWorks is giving its audience a great ride!" -San Francisco Chronicle

"Hip, funny, and worthy of Broadway!" -San Francisco Examiner

"I have found TheatreWorks to be that extremely rare company that has so much soul and life that it provides a service to our society which, in my opinion, not only serves a great need but truly feeds the human spirit. You have discovered the pure honesty and beauty that made me fall in love with theatre at a young age, and you consistently bring it to your audience, show after show." - Jennie Brick, "A new subscriber for life"
